Where & when the Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival 2012 is happening?
The Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival will take place at its new home - Dubai Festival City – from February 16th till the 24th, 2012
- The Jazz Garden to start on Feb 18th till the 22nd, 2012
- Main Gigs concerts are to take place during 2 consecutive weekends
- Feb 16th & 17th, 2012
- Feb 23rd & 24th, 2012
Where can I buy tickets and what is the price for each category?

Are there any VIP tickets for sale?
Yes. During the main concerts nights (Feb 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th) we are offering “VIP Terrace” tickets open bar “Beer & Wine”. Please visit dubaijazzfest.com /Tickets page for details and prices.
Can I buy tickets at the door? Are credit cards accepted?
Yes. Tickets are available at the door but ONLY cash payments are accepted
What is the dress code?
No dress code policy applies
Is there any taxi stop near by?
Yes. Taxis normally queue outside the venue’s several exits. Signs will help guide you on the way out. However, Chillout Productions is not involved in providing transportation services since accurate and efficient service from the local transportation companies is not guaranteed.
Where can I park?
There is a free car parking space near the festival ground, and shuttle bus service will be available between the Festival Center parking and the venue. Paid Valet parking service will be available as well for interested guests.
What time doors open at Dubai Festival City?
For Main Gigs Nights : Doors Open at 6pm
For Jazz Garden Nights: Doors open at 7pm
For Jazz Garden Nights: Doors open at 7pm
Will there be chairs?
Chairs will be available at the Front and Regular Seating zones; no chairs will be available at the standing area.
Can I bring my own chair?
Unfortunately you cannot bring your own chair. Chairs will be available at the Front and Middle Seating zones; no chairs will be available at the standing area.
Is there any alcohol served at the venue and what are the consumption terms and conditions?
Yes. The F&B outlets will be selling alcohol to adults only (21 years and above,) and you may be asked to provide a valid ID. All beverages will be served in plastic cups. No bottles will be allowed. We apologize for this inconvenience but we are simply following the safety rules set to protect concertgoers in the UAE.
Are there any food outlets available at the venue?
Yes. A wide selection of food and beverage outlets will be available for all budget ranges.
Can I bring my own food?
No outside food or beverages, coolers, picnic baskets, oversized totes, large tarps, or other picnic gear permitted. A full assortment of food and beverages will be available for purchase.
Is there a special entrance for physically challenged guests?
Yes. There will be a special entrance with easy access for physically challenged guests. Please ask for guidance at the door.
Is there a special seating area for physically challenged guests?
Yes. There will be a designated platform for our physically challenged guests to guarantee raised viewing without visual barriers. We recommend guests to let us know in advance to make sure we are prepared.
Will there be medical services and assistance at the venue?
Yes. A dedicated team of first aid professionals and equipped ambulances will be available for any emergency.
How can I report lost objects?
A lost & found bureau will be available at the venue. You can report a lost item to any of our volunteers on ground and provide them with your contact details. The volunteers will inform the bureau, which will contact you in case your lost object is found. Our volunteers will be wearing a labeled outfit.
Are children allowed to attend? What is the age policy and ticket price?
Yes. are welcomed under the full supervision and responsibility of their parents. Children below 12 years old will be admitted free of charge to the Standing Area ONLY. Children above 12 years old will have to buy tickets at full price.
Can I take pictures?
Yes, snapshots are permitted during the concert for personal use only; absolutely no commercial usage allowed.
Can I use a flash?
The concert stage is lit, so a flash may not be necessary. We ask that you please use discretion so as not to disrupt the event for other guests as well as the performers.
Can I record video or audio of the concert?
Absolutely no recording is permitted.
